Moles or nevi are the most common growths on the
skin. They can be present at birth or acquired
throughout the lifetime.
Moles can appear
anywhere on the skin and can vary in size and
shape.
During the treatment the area is numbed
with topical anesthesia, so that the patient is
comfortable. After the area is numbed, the CO2 or
KTP laser is used to vaporize the mole or wart. The
total time for this procedure is between 15-30
minutes. The area heals in 7-10 days with minimal
or textural damage. |
